Does the cake designer have much experience in making and delivering Wedding Cakes? Making a small cake (no matter how good it looks), is not the same as creating a 3-tier wedding cake. Read reviews, check their portfolio for wedding cakes, and inquire if you are unsure. An experienced Wedding Cake Designer will be able to handle any challenges that may arise much better than a less experienced Cake Designer.
Taste :
A talented cake designer will provide a cake tasting session with a variety of delicious cake to choose from. Ensure the taste of the cake is as good as their cakes look. The cake should be flavourful and not dry.

Satisfied wedding couples are a good indication that the designer is reliable but trust your instincts. Consider the personal connection you have with the designer. Does the designer love their job? Do you feel like they have a good understanding of you and your wedding? Do you trust them? Feeling comfortable and confident in their abilities will contribute to a wonderful experience that you will cherish.
