Hello, my name is Emma and I’m Scottish. This certainly explains my passion for wedding cakes, which are a real tradition in my home country. I eat, sleep and breathe cakes, and I love my job as a Cake Designer.
My journey as a chef began when I was a child, but I suppressed my passions for many years. That all changed in 2011 after a serious car accident, when I realised that if I did not start doing what I really loved, I would never do it. So, in 2012, I went back to school and studied to become a Chef. While studying for my Catering Diploma, I started making birthday cakes, inspired by the many baking programmes I had watched during my recovery. I realised that creating celebration cakes combined my love of art with cooking, and that is how it all started.
For me, taste has to be on the same level as decoration, and that it is also always important to be challenging oneself, perfecting techniques and learning new skills. I want all my customers, and their friends and family, to talk as much about the taste of the cake as the way it looks, long after the event. Knowing that I helped create a WOW moment on someone’s special day is the best gift of all. My commitment is to create wedding cakes of as high a quality as can be found in the UK.

- I am inspired by the deep, vibrant colours of nature, especially during autumn and the colours of the Scottish landscape.

- I love to Travel, but I am more of a cool climate kind of girl than a beach sun soaker
- I like to lose myself in a good book on my days off.
- I am a classic jeans and white t-shirt kind of girl with a pop of colour – navy blue, orange, dark green, burgundy and gold
- You will rarely see me were a delicate necklace. I love a statement necklace, but generally, I wear dangly earrings and a cuff bracelet.
- My favourite perfumes are oriental
